3 Days 2 Nights Nairobi – Samburu – Nairobi Safari
Overview
This 3-day safari takes you to the rugged and remote Samburu National Reserve, home to rare northern species like the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and Beisa oryx—collectively known as the Samburu Special Five. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Ewaso Nyiro River, Samburu offers unique wildlife sightings and a rich cultural experience with the Samburu people.
Tour Plan
Our Driver-guide will pick you from your hotel at 8:00 am or the airport, depart for the semi-arid Samburu Game Reserve. En-route stop briefly at the Equator Crossing point. Arrive Samburu in time for lunch. Relax after lunch and then take an afternoon game drive at 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Return to the camp by evening.
These 3 reserves (Buffalo spring, Shaba and Samburu) were helped put up by Adamson’s family, they are famous for rare species of animals only found in this semi arid region. These are reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, and blue necked Somali ostrich amongst
Dinner and overnight – Camp/Lodge
Full day at Samburu including morning and afternoon game drives. Rest of the day at leisure. You may just want to relax by the pool or perhaps book an added activity such as a nature walk, cultural visit within the area or a relaxing massage depending on accommodation booked { extra activities at additional cost}.
